Configuring the PRISM Portal

Configuring the PRISM Portal requires configuring the core WordPress features and options, as well as customizing core theme elements, such as your logo and any unique textual content (e.g., About Us, etc.)

To change the Media Settings:

• You will want to change the Media Settings (Settings > Media > Media Settings) by unchecking “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” under Uploading Files.

To change the PRISM logo to your custom logo:

• Create your new logo and save locally.
• Replace the PRISM logo using the Hello theme customizer to load your new logo.

To change or add information, such as “About Us” text or new pages:

• Use the left side admin menu of WordPress > Pages. Search for “About” and then edit that page.
• To create a new page, choose Pages > New Page. Layout the page as you like, then click Publish. (Note: You will need to add this page to one of the existing menus if you want it accessible to users without them having to know the URL.)
