What is PRISM?

What is PRISM?

PRISM (Platform for Imaging in Precision Medicine) is a powerful biomedical imaging-based technology stack to streamline deployment and incorporate new tools for analysis and management of images and imaging features with clinical context.

The PRISM foci are:

  • Digital Pathology
  • QuIP
  • Interactive Deep Learning
  • Data Management

More specifically, PRISM consists of a set of cooperating components, which work in concert to create a research image repository site. This site provides access to each PRISM tool (component), along with requirements and installation instructions for both PRISM as a whole and each individual component that comprises PRISM.

This documentation repository is designed to facilitate the preparation and implementation of a PRISM repository site. Many of the instructions contained in this documentation will link outside of the PRISM website.
